eFastConsulting is proud to offer Urchin Monitor for your cPanel web server and Urchin monitoring needs!
What does Urchin Monitor Do? Urchin-Monitor installs two services on your Cpanel server and monitors the uptime status of Urchin. When installed, it will monitor the CRASHED status for the scheduler, including the crashed status of the Urchin web server, and will restart Urchin and the scheduler if it goes down. Unfortunately, when Urchin is installed on a Cpanel server, it does tend shutdown at random intervals throughout the day making Urchin statistic unavailable to you and your users. Urchin-Monitor has been designed to restart your Urchin services if they go down, so you don't have to.
Urchin-Monitor has been completely rewritten and redesigned to offer unparallel Urchin monitoring. Our new 4-In-1 installer script allows you to quickly and easily install, upgrade or remove Urchin-Monitor at any time. Are you running an older version of Urchin-Monitor? No problem! Our 4-In-1 installer script will upgrade your older version of Urchin-Monitor to the latest version in just seconds.
Urchin-Monitor co-exists with all versions of cPanel Urchin. cPanel updates are no longer a threat to Urchin-Monitor's continual monitoring because Urchin-Monitor has the ability to re-install itself automatically if a cPanel updates break it's monitoring capabilities. Urchin-Monitor will restart Urchin after every cPanel update, or whenever Urchin crashes, whether the update was initiated via an automatic cPanel upgrade or via a command line update such as running /scripts/upcp from the command line.
